Our spelling words will focus on phonics concepts requiring mastery.  Not all the words on Friday's test will be known to students ahead of time so I can assess how students apply phonics concepts and spelling rules.  Other words which do not follow typical phonics or spelling rules will be given and practiced ahead of time.
